Welcome to our blog Only One Truth.
My name is Maria Ferrara I would like to briefly introduce myself and a topic which I hope could be helpful to everyone. I was born in Poland during the communism occupation. My father was a famous Tibetan doctor to Nicholas II, the last Czar of Russia. My mother was Russian. My parents moved to Poland during the Bolshevik occupation. Encouraged by my mother I followed classic ballet at the Warsaw Opera House, where I began a successful career. By winning the first place at an international competition in Italy, I became a celebrity upon my return to Poland, which I left to go to live in Italy, never to return. I was young and beautiful -- and very naïve. I arrived in Rome during the time of ‘La Dolce Vita,’ when it was transformed into Hollywood on the Tiber. In those days, I was working for directors like Fellini and de Sica, and mixed with stars like Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Maximillian Schell and Roman Polanski. I married a copyrights lawyer who worked for the largest film production company. When we married, I believed that my happiness would last forever.

The Pagan world recognized human virtue.
My terrible ordeal brought me closer to humanity. I understood that all humanity had been terribly humiliated for centuries. The natural and profound goodness, greatness and genius of humanity has been completely suppressed by innumerable superstitions and corrupted into the idea of sacrifice, effectively reducing humanity to solely one function, which is to be a vehicle for the glory of God. Therefore, whoever donates his life should feel as one chosen by God.
We talk constantly about politics and religion with their ideologies, but no one ever mentions the merits of humanity because that would diminish the importance of God. Wouldn’t it be time that we start to recognize the natural profound goodness, greatness and genius, of humanity that has been so deeply humiliated and began to respect and love each other. Out of fear and for reasons of superstition people automatically express gratitude to God in any successful achievement giving all credit to God. We are scared to recognize our greatness, which is why we don’t respect each other. In one such example we prefer to express our gratitude to God instead of the doctor who has struggled all night to save the life of our loved one. We don’t have a true sense of gratitude towards our greatest benefactor, mankind. It is thus only humanity that can help us to create our own destiny and not the supernatural.

Rise of a new religion - Christianity.
With the rise of the new religion of Christianity and the decline of Rome, the works of most non-Christian thinkers were destroyed or lost in the West. Europe entered the Dark Ages. When learning did begin to recover in the medieval period, it was ruthlessly controlled by the Christian Church. While Christianity hostile to humanity thus opposing knowledge just to establish their theologies invented Inquisition where first, the Church divorced philosophy from theology, then it went further and segregated science as well. When Galileo expounded upon Copernicus’s theory that the Earth moved around the Sun, he was tortured and put in isolation. To escape death he was obliged to repudiate his theory, though he knew it to be true. Giordano Bruno went even further when he proposed that the universe is infinite and denied the existence of a center of the universe. For that reason he was executed by the Inquisition in 1600. History repeats itself even today, to defend the theory of intelligent design the Church rejects the idea of Darwinian Evolution, that the universe is generated by self-organizing processes that stem from very dynamic laws. Instead it insists that for this to occur there has to exist an intelligence behind this, namely God.

All gospels are based on faith not historical facts.
Is it not peculiar that for a figure as important as Jesus Christ, who is considered to be have changed the world, for us to know so little about him – even such basics as when and where he was born; we also know precious little about Mary and Joseph, his parents; we know even less about the date he was supposed to have been crucified or the exact location. Nor do we know where his tomb lies. The Gospels describe Mary and Joseph has having gone to Bethlehem in response to Cesar Augustus' mandate for taking a census of the Roman Empire. This way the Gospels link him to royal lineage as a direct descendent of David. But in fact Jesus was not born in Bethlehem but maybe in another town of the same name in Galileo, east of Jordan not far from Nazareth according of recent scholastic research. The supposed day of his birth is prescribed to the pagan holiday of December 25th. We have no idea how he looked. The first images of Jesus were taken from the Egyptian god Horus that was modified to fit the Greco-Roman ideal. Then later this was further modified to suit the Byzantine model. The image of the crucifixion was taken from the common Jewish practice of sacrificing a lamb; here again another borrowed idea. We do not know the location and time of his death. The Via Dolorosa is reputed to be the path that led him to his crucifixion but scholars have dated its construction to after the time of Jesus. As for Golgotha, the mount where he was to have been crucified - it is too far up and too narrow a strip of land to have had three crucifixions.
